• Smart Cars - Doing our part, one SMART delivery at a time!
  About a year ago, most of our management team began driving Smart Cars. In addition to turning heads throughout the Intermountain West, these fuel-efficient cars are helping us reduce energy consumption and harmful emissions.

• A Natural Leader
  Over the past several years, Codale's truck fleet has been moving towards natural gas—not only does this result in cost savings (approximately $6 for a 100-mile trip, and around $12 to fill a tank) that we can pass along to our customers, but it also reduces harmful emissions, which is good for our community and our environment!

• Recycling Efforts
  Codale has been making an effort to use less paper, and of course recycle what we do use, for years now. (It is estimated that for every ton of paper recycled, the following are saved: 17 trees, 275 pounds of sulfur, 350 pounds of limestone, 9,000 pounds of steam, 60,000 gallons of water, 225 kilowatt hours, and 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space!)

• Occupancy Sensors
  One of the “greenest” product types we carry, there are hundreds of occupancy sensors in use at Codale’s branch facilities to help minimize energy usage when employees are away from their workstations. We also carry a wide variety of energy efficient lighting controls for commercial and residential use. We can help you find convenient ways to save energy, meet green initiatives and comply with energy codes.

• Virtual Reality
  We recently constructed a high-tech data center as part of our brand new Salt Lake headquarters facility. While the actual, working command center for the entire company’s network operations, it also serves as a showpiece, demonstrating our extensive product lines and technical capabilities in the datacom arena. Among its impressive stats, the data center has utilized the latest virtual server technology to reduce our company’s energy consumption—cutting CO2 emissions by an estimated 30 tons per year!
