The M-2017 Capacitor Discharge Tool discharges the capacitors voltage to a safe level in controlled discharge method within 2 minutes of time. For safe operation LED will indicate the user when the capacitors are discharged to a safe level to work on. When 24V is available on main unit, Capacitor discharge protection in the circuit will not allow the capacitors to discharge regardless of technician action.
